We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support a fast-moving Ecommerce and Assembly warehouse operation. This is a hands‑on warehouse position responsible for moving, storing, organizing, receiving, and tracking materials and finished products throughout the facility. The right candidate will understand that successful material handling is about more than moving boxes. Accurate inventory, organized staging areas, proper product rotation, and communication with the production team are all essential to keeping operations running smoothly.

This material handler works directly with the Ecommerce / Assembly team and reports to the Ecommerce Manager. This position plays an important role in making sure materials are:
- Received correctly
- Counted accurately
- Properly labeled
- Stored in the correct locations
- Available when assembly needs them
- Rotated appropriately
- Maintained in an organized and safe manner
Attention to detail is extremely important. Inventory errors or incorrectly staged products can affect assembly schedules and production flow, so candidates must be willing to take ownership of their work.
What You'll Be Doing Daily responsibilities may include:- Moving materials and products throughout the Ecommerce and Assembly warehouse
- Receiving incoming goods and supplies
- Verifying quantities of incoming materials
- Confirming products received from production and receiving departments
- Identifying and labeling inventory
- Counting inventory accurately
- Maintaining accurate inventory tags
- Organizing products into designated storage locations
- Pulling materials needed for upcoming assembly work
- Prestaging products according to assembly requirements
- Reviewing Build Assembly information to determine required materials
- Making sure the correct products and quantities are staged
- Maintaining an organized prestaging area
- Rotating inventory using First‑In, First‑Out (FIFO) procedures
- Placing newer inventory behind older inventory
- Helping prevent outdated or older products from being overlooked
- Inspecting material‑handling equipment before or during use
- Reporting equipment problems or maintenance concerns
- Safely handling warehouse materials and products
- Keeping aisles, staging areas, and work spaces organized
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Communicating with Assembly Leads, Quality personnel, and other team members
- Completing additional material‑handling responsibilities as warehouse needs change
One of the most important responsibilities of this position is maintaining accurate inventory counts and inventory tags. The material handler may be responsible for:
- Identifying products correctly
- Counting materials
- Verifying quantities
- Labeling inventory
- Maintaining inventory tags
- Reporting discrepancies
- Keeping products stored in appropriate areas
- Making sure inventory information matches physical inventory
The strongest candidates will be people who naturally double‑check their work and understand that small inventory mistakes can create larger production problems.
Receiving ResponsibilitiesMaterial handlers help ensure incoming products and supplies are received correctly. Responsibilities may include:
- Receiving incoming materials
- Counting products as they arrive
- Comparing physical quantities against expected amounts
- Verifying products received from production
- Verifying products received through the receiving department
- Identifying damaged, missing, or incorrect materials
- Communicating discrepancies to the appropriate team member
- Moving received products into their proper warehouse locations
