Accounting Clerk ; Onsite

Could you be our next Premium Accounting Clerk I? The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate application of premium for all Globe Life policies. The clerk will be expected to make appropriate determinations based on information provided and policies established by the Premium Accounting Department. This is an on‑site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.

• Payment research and application.
• Daily balancing of transactions processed.
• Processing refund payments.
• Accounting entries as required.
• Assist with the responsibilities of the Associate Accounting Clerk as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Related work experience preferred; previous remittance processing, banking or insurance experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate a 10‑key calculator at an intermediate level.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Basic accounting knowledge, including familiarity with general ledger entries.
• Attention to detail and research skills in multiple systems.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand or sit for long periods.
