Accounting Coordinator; Hybrid

Role Overview

Premium Accounting Coordinator to support claim operations by gathering and organizing claim information for processing by Claim Examiners and Analysts. Function includes e‑mail sorting, claim indexing, customer contacts, check processing, and related tasks as business needs dictate.

• Provide training to Premium Accounting and external department staff.
• Create and maintain procedure and training documents.
• Act as subject matter expert for Premium Accounting.
• Coordinate research and resolution of system issues or errors in the premium accounting process.
• Collaborate with IT on support projects that affect premium accounting.
• Provide backup to the supervisor as needed.
• Assist with all responsibilities within the Premium Accounting team and support other teams as required.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 2‑5 years of related work experience, including 1‑3 years of accounting and general ledger experience.
• Insurance work experience preferred.
• 1‑3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Expert use of a 10‑key calculator.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Intermediate accounting knowledge, including general ledger entries.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to perform complex research across multiple systems.
• Strong multitasking and fast‑paced work capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for overtime as required.

Hybrid position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:
Work‑from‑home Monday and Friday;
In‑office Tuesday‑Thursday.
