Tax Preparer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team and help clients navigate the complexities of tax filing with confidence. In this role, you will prepare individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws. • Prepare accurate and thorough federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and corporations using various tax software tools such as Pro Series& Pro Connect.
• Review financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, receipts, and expense reports to gather necessary data for tax filings.
• Analyze client financial information to identify potential deductions, credits, and strategies that optimize tax outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, and deadlines to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the tax preparation process.

• Proven experience in tax preparation with a strong background in accounting or public accounting environments.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Pro Series and Pro Connect and tax concepts is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Strong math skills combined with analysis skills to interpret complex financial information accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
