Job Description
Accounts Administrator Our Manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a hands-on role covering reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payments, month-end support and general financial administration. It would suit someone with 23 years experience who is confident working independently, takes pride in accuracy and enjoys managing a varied workload.
For you:
Full-time permanent role. Fully onsite in South Wicklow. 40k DOE + pension. 20 days annual leave. Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm. Join a growing organisation in an evolving industry.
- Carry out regular bank, supplier, customer and credit card reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances and outstanding items.
- Support day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivableactivities.
- Process payments, including multi-currency transactions.
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial administration.
- Support Revenue compliance activities, including VAT and related submissions.
- Liaise with external accountants, advisers and other stakeholders as required.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Finance Manager across a range of finance activities.
- Ensure financial processes and records are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes as the business continues to grow.
- 23 years experience in an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
- Strong reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general accounting processes.
- Practical experience with bank reconciliations and investigating account discrepancies.
- An understanding of Revenue and VAT processes is an advantage.
- The ability to work independently, use your initiative and manage your own workload.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills, particularly
Microsoft Exceland accounting software/systems.
