Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our long‑term care team. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff while helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and secure environment within the facility.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff at the front entrance
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to door alarms and facility entry systems
  • Assist visitors with sign‑in procedures and general inquiries
  • Maintain communication logs and front desk documentation
  • Support administrative staff with clerical duties as needed
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and department leaders regarding visitor or resident concerns
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer and telephone system knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
