About the PositionLocated in Fort Supply at our Acute Care facility, this position is assigned responsibilities for providing administrative support for program areas and support functions to the administrative programs officer. The role includes telephone and face‑to‑face contact with persons seeking services and completing the admissions process, including paperwork and computer system entry, maintaining records, preparing correspondence, and related activities. The position also answers the facility phones and transfers calls to the appropriate personnel.
Responsibilities- Admit incoming clients / discharging clients
- Data entry into Avatar / knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus
- Assist with metering mail / occasional mail run
- Develop and maintain confidential or complex files
- Assist with filling out court documents when court liaison is absent
- Submit legal status documentation to county DA offices
- Obtain Member OHCA / assist with OHCA gate‑keeping documentation when needed
- Enter and retrieve information using a personal computer or other data‑processing equipment and review coded and uncoded source documents; review data and make routine corrections
- Interview callers, arrange appointments, and handle office details
- Typical working hours are M‑F 8:00 – 4:30 PM
- Annual salary is $34,500 plus generous benefits allowance

This position requires 3 years of experience performing a variety of complex clerical and typing office work; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements- Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants must submit to a physical examination and meet the physical requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and pushing and pulling a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job‑related travel normally associated with this position and have a valid driver’s license.
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety‑sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety‑sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
Work Hours & CoverageThis agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
