SEC Energy is looking for a parts buyer/sales coordinator who will support the Oklahoma region. The ideal candidate will serve as a frontline inside sales representative with added buying and warehouse responsibilities for our midstream compression packages.

• Processes emergency/routine parts orders for the tech service field team
• Processes internal/external customer parts quotes and orders
• Creates purchase orders based on parts needs and submits to appropriate vendors
• Suggests parts recommendations to external customers
• Performs warehouse functions such as shipping/receiving, validating orders to ensure delivery accuracy
• Delivers and picks up parts from vendors and customers as needed (pull truck available during work hours)
• Maintains appropriate inventory records
• Expedites critical parts when needed
  
  Processes vendor return authorizations for damaged and poor quality products
• Makes inventory corrections, adjustments and price changes
• Maintains and tracks all core returns to vendors for credits
• Assists in bi-annual parts physical inventory counts
• Communicates and follows up with various vendors/customers for order updates

• High School diploma or GED
• A.A. Degree preferred but not required
• 0-2 years minimum in the field or related area
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• SAP experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Ariel compressors and Caterpillar/Waukesha engines is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, Microsoft Office and related software
• Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume; apply basic math concepts
• Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations not covered by existing policies, procedures, or protocols

• Work within office, warehouse, shop, and field environments
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• Travel when required
• Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, and some heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
• Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, potentially exposing to various materials, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and loud machinery; requires appropriate PPE
