Position: Business Support / Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Boise City

International Chemical Company is seeking a Business Support professional to provide customer service, order processing, and logistics coordination support for a global chemical manufacturer’s U.S. operations.

This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth order fulfillment, shipment coordination, and communication between customers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Order Management

  • Process customer orders and manage order entry
  • Issue and manage purchase orders and invoices
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, and delivery updates
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve shipping or billing issues

Logistics & Shipping Coordination

  • Prepare and manage domestic & international shipping documents
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and vendors
  • Track import containers and shipment schedules
  • Handle Certificates of Analysis and other compliance documentation

Sales & Operational Support

  • Maintain price lists and customer records
  • Support Sales & Marketing with samples, pricing, and documentation
  • Assist with delinquent account follow-ups
  • Prepare periodic sales and operational reports

Team & Administrative Support

  • Monitor shared inbox with high email volume
  • Back up team members as needed
  • Support multi-product business lines and global contacts
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 1–2+ years relevant experience
  • Customer service or order processing experience
  • Experience handling purchase orders, invoicing, and shipping coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred

  • Import/Export or international shipping experience
  • Knowledge of Incoterms & freight terms
  • Import container tracking experience
  • Chemical or manufacturing industry exposure
Work Environment
  • Remote with some office visit (office location; Westchester, NY)
  • High-volume, team-based operational environment
