Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) – Pulp Mill
Valliant, OK
Salary Range: $93,400 - $124,500 (location & experience dependent)
- Safety leadership across the area.
- Execution of Monthly Work Schedule (MWS).
- Physical plant improvements.
- Management of maintenance budget and overtime.
- Allocation of maintenance resources.
- Communication of area maintenance plans.
- Weekend call duty.
- Backup to APM for daily report responses (AOC, Envoy & Parc View guidelines).
- After‑hours duty to resolve issues related to safety, environmental compliance, and production during outages or upset conditions.
- Ability to instill safety as a core value within the team.
- Quick study of mill equipment, systems and processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Inclusive approach to positional responsibilities.
- Strong statistical analysis skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Minitab. - Self‑starter, team player, strong coach.
- Demonstrated leadership in pulp and paper manufacturing.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
- Technical knowledge of the pulp and paper process.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage and/or lead projects and teams.
- Proven leadership in a customer‑focused organization.
- Technical education: BS or higher in engineering, pulp and paper technology, or equivalent experience.
