Together Housing Group is seeking applications from positive individuals who are interested in becoming independent non‑executive directors on the Together Commercial Board and Commercial Committee.
The Group manages over 38,000 homes, and our footprint stretches from the east to the west coast, throughout Lancashire and Yorkshire and as far south as Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. In April 2026 we have launched our new Corporate Plan to take us through the next five years of our strategic direction.
We are particularly, though not exclusively, interested in candidates who will bring the following skills/experience to our Group:
- Construction and development
- Housing building through Joint Ventures
- Property sales market
- Renewables and low carbon markets
- Contract Management

This Non‑Executive Director role offers a renumeration of £5,899 per annum
, along with reasonable travel expenses for attendance at meetings.
The role requires a commitment of approximately 7 days per year for face‑to‑face activity. This includes:
- Four Committee meetings per year
, with a mix of:- 50% held virtually (via Teams)
- 50% held in person
- Annual strategy days
, typically held in North Yorkshire - An additional 2–3 in‑person meetings each year
Face‑to‑face meetings are held across our key locations in the North of England
, including:
- Blackburn (BB1 1JD
) - Wakefield (WF1 1PS
) - Other locations such as Halifax
We welcome applications from candidates based further afield; however, it is important that applicants are able and willing to travel to attend in‑person meetings as required.
