We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionists will work with producers to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting all accounting processes, including but not limited to inbound receipts, invoicing, cash deposits, daily closes, and inventory. The role will also assist the Office Manager in responding to requests for accounting information and providing overall office support.

Responsibilities
  • Invoicing for all outbound shipments and verifying information from various locations to ensure accuracy.
  • Receiving all inbound tickets, including checking weights and scale ticket numbers.
  • Assisting with daily deposits and cash application on customer accounts.
  • Reconciling daily inbound and outbound activity, following up on outstanding loads.
  • Supporting the physical inventory process by walking the grounds and counting product in an external environment.
  • Weighing all inbound and outbound trucks and ensuring accuracy of all data input in Scale It.
  • Maintaining office records and filing all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Performing any other related processes and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent organizational skill set with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong sense of customer service with both internal and external customers.
  • Must be an independent self-starter.
  • Agricultural experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and/or overtime as needed.
