Site Superintendent

Sher Contracting is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee all field operations associated with a utility substation expansion and station service upgrade. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning activities while ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.

Project Leadership

• Direct daily field operations and workforce activities.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and utility representatives.

• Lead daily safety and coordination meetings.

• Monitor schedule performance and identify potential delays.

• Ensure compliance with utility, owner, and OSHA requirements.

• 5+ years of utility, substation, or heavy electrical construction supervision experience.

• Experience coordinating outage work in energized environments.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• OSHA 30 preferred.

• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

• Zero recordable safety incidents.

• Completion of outage work within approved outage windows.

• Successful commissioning and energization.

• On-time project completion.

• Positive owner and stakeholder feedback.
