Job Overview

Terra Works, LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and have hands‑on experience operating equipment and performing general labor duties in various construction projects. You will be responsible for transporting equipment, materials, operating machinery when necessary, and performing tasks related to site preparation, maintenance, and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and drive company vehicles, including those requiring a CDL, to transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
  • Accurately document job progress and track all relevant project data, providing updates and data sheets as required.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of construction materials, ensuring safe handling and delivery.
  • Perform general labor duties, including digging, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
  • Operate equipment such as backhoes, loaders, excavators, or other heavy machinery.
  • Maintain and inspect vehicles and equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Assist team members with various on‑site tasks, including setting up work areas and cleaning up after projects.
  • Follow all safety regulations, ensuring the safety of self and crew members.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL (Class

    A) required.
  • NACE/AMPP CP1 or CIP1 preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check and regular drug screenings
    .
  • Proven experience operating equipment such as excavators, loaders, or similar machinery.
  • Prior experience in construction or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and willingness to adhere to company safety policies.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Must be willing to travel. This job will require multiple weeks (3-5) on the road at a time, with 7-10 days at home in-between.
