Experienced Mason

We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our team in the United States

• Prepare construction site by cleaning and setting up necessary materials
• Lay out patterns or foundations using chalk lines or other measuring tools
• Mix mortar or grout and spread evenly between bricks or blocks
• Cut or trim bricks or blocks to fit specific spaces using hand tools or power saws
• Use levels, rulers, plumb bobs and other tools to ensure proper alignment and verticality of structures
• Repair cracks in existing structures using plaster or cement
• Apply insulation materials to walls as needed
• Clean excess mortar from finished work using hand tools, sponges or other equipment

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason
• High school diploma (GED preferred but not required)
• Experience working with different types of masonry materials including brick, concrete, blocks, stone etc
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects regularly
• Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites
