Job DescriptionClient Live Labs delivers hands‑on workshops, demos, and technical experiences that power Clients enablement programs. This role is an opportunity for an early‑career Video Editor to help shape how Oracle tells its product stories through polished walkthroughs, demo videos, feature explainers, and short‑form content that reaches developers, customers, and internal teams.
We're looking for a creative, detail‑oriented editor who is comfortable working with technical source material, collaborating with product teams, and producing on‑brand assets that elevate the Live Labs and Clients AI Database narrative.
You do not need to be an expert cinematographer. You do need strong editing fundamentals, familiarity with Adobe tools, excellent organization, and a passion for clear storytelling.
What You Will Do- Work closely with Program Managers, Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to turn raw recordings and technical walkthroughs into polished video content.
- Edit and assemble content for demos, tutorials, workshop intros, short‑form clips, event assets, and internal enablement videos.
- Handle the end‑to‑end edit pipeline for smaller projects (IC2‑appropriate ownership): timelines, cuts, audio cleanup, simple color correction, titles, and on‑screen annotations.
- Apply Oracle's brand guidelines, tone, visual style, and Redwood design principles to minimize revisions and maintain consistency.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create lightweight motion graphics (lower thirds, transitions, callouts).
- Manage and organize project files, media assets, naming conventions, and delivery exports.
- Incorporate feedback quickly, iterate effectively, and maintain strong communication throughout the editing process.
- Support the broader post‑production workflow by collaborating with higher‑level editors and producers when needed.
- You enjoy collaboration and make the people around you better.
- You care about clarity and storytelling even when the content is technical.
- You follow rules when they matter, but you're not afraid to try a creative approach when it improves the viewer experience.
- You're flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment.
- You're enthusiastic about learning new skills, tools, and technical concepts—especially if it makes your work stronger.
- 1‑3 years of professional experience in video editing or equivalent portfolio demonstrating strong editing ability.
- Hands‑on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and basic skills with After Effects.
- Ability to edit screen recordings, narration, and technical content clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail, timing, pacing, continuity, and visual consistency.
- Basic knowledge of audio cleanup and leveling.
- Experience delivering under deadlines with good communication and time management.
- A sample of your strongest creative or technical editing work is required.
