Job DescriptionDesk Clerks for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) are the front‑office customer service representatives in the park’s lobby, lodge, or golf pro shop. They provide customers with requested information, assistance concerning services, and direct requests to the appropriate resource.
TypicalJob Duties
- Answer telephones, take messages, and provide information about locations and facilities.
- Receive walk‑in and phone‑in reservation requests.
- Check guests into reservations and validate parking.
- Post charges to guest accounts, including necessary corrections and transfers.
- Collect charges, process credit‑card vouchers, and close guest accounts.
- Check in/out recreation equipment, golf carts, etc. to guests.
- Assist with gift‑shop sales and restock merchandise.
- Prepare various reports under general direction.
- Prepare correspondence, monthly reports, and other documents using various office equipment and software.
- Perform general housekeeping in public areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations and agency needs.
- Minimum age of 16 years.
Scheduled hours will require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events, based on the needs of the agency.
