Desk Clerks are the public-facing customer service representatives in the park’s front office, lodge, or golf pro shop. They provide information and assistance to customers and direct requests to the appropriate service providers.

• Answer telephones, take messages, and provide information about location facilities.
• Receive walk-in and phone reservations; check guests into reservations and validate parking.
• Post charges to guest accounts, including necessary corrections and transfers; collect charges and process credit card vouchers.
• Close guest accounts and handle check-in/check-out of recreation equipment and golf carts.
• Assist with gift shop sales and restocking merchandise.
• Prepare various reports, correspondence, monthly reports, and other documents using office equipment and software.
• Perform general housekeeping in public areas and support daily operations as needed.

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Two (2) years of experience in sales, public contact work, handling and processing mail, or general office clerical work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Scheduled hours require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events, based on agency needs.
• Some locations may require a valid Driver’s License.

The starting pay for this position is $15.00/hr after successful completion of a one-year trial period with OTRD, the rate of pay may increase to $15.45/hr.
