Location: Perry
General Dentist (Experienced) Full-Time Locum Coverage Perry, OK
A well-established outpatient dental practice in Perry, OK 73077, is seeking an experienced General Dentist to provide temporary coverage from September through November while a permanent provider is recruited. This opportunity is ideal for a confident clinician who is comfortable practicing independently in a community setting.
The practice is supported by an experienced team consisting of front office staff, two dental assistants, and one hygienist, allowing the provider to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
The Role:- Location: Perry, OK 73077
- Assignment: September November
- Schedule: Monday Friday (4.5 days per week)
- Hours: Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
- Patient Volume: patients per day
- Clinical Scope: General family dentistry with a primary focus on adult patients; 100% outpatient practice with up to 40% Medicaid patients
- Tech Stack: Open Dental
- Support Team: Front office, 2 dental assistants, and 1 hygienist
- Preferred Skills: Prior experience practicing independently in a solo-provider setting; ability to confidently manage comprehensive general dentistry without onsite clinical mentorship
- Compensation: $125+/hour, comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage, plus travel and lodging provided (if needed)
- Credentials: Active Oklahoma dental license, current DEA registration, current BLS certification, and active Medicaid enrollment for full-time coverage consideration
- Experience: Experienced General Dentist required. New graduates are not being considered due to the solo-provider nature of the assignment and the absence of additional clinical providers available for training or support.
- Onboarding: Approximately 1-week fast-track credentialing
- Practice Fit: A dependable, self-directed clinician who enjoys providing quality care in a community-focused practice and is comfortable working independently.
