ContextThe Territorial Directorate of the Annecy Basin, for its Service for Prevention and Solidarity in Balme Cruseilles Seyssel, is looking for a midwife. Under the authority of the head of service, the midwife ensures, in their intervention territory, medical psycho-social prevention, gynecological follow-up, and comprehensive follow-up of pregnancy, postnatal, and perinatal periods. Participates in family planning, family education, and access to contraception activities.
And provides support for parenting and health promotion.
In this role, your missions are:
- Conduct pre and postnatal consultations
- Conduct early prenatal and postnatal interviews
- Prepare for birth and parenthood
- Identify and support high-risk pregnancies from medical, psychological, and social perspectives
- Conduct contraception consultations and preventive gynecological follow-ups
- Organize and lead individual or collective prevention actions in contraception and sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Conduct research in the field of perinatality
The position involves frequent travel throughout the territory and variable working hours depending on the service's needs.
Obligation to follow an annual program of continuous professional development.
Profile SoughtGraduated as a midwife, you understand the regulatory and legislative framework and have skills in individual interviews. You are familiar with the partnership network and wish to develop it further. You have a sense of teamwork, relationship skills, listening, and analytical and synthesis capabilities. You are autonomous in your missions and show adaptability, then this position is for you. The Department awaits your application before 31/08/2026.
