Med Ninjas is seeking a Psychiatrist for long term coverage at an outpatient clinic located in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

The Psychiatrist must be available for the complete coverage block from starting as soon as credentialed with realistic start dates of 11/2 or 11/9.

This assignment includes outpatient clinic coverage, hybrid coverage with 50% or more in person, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, psychiatric support for pediatric and adolescent patients, and no specific on-call/weekend requirement provided.

Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM/5:00 PM

Start Date:

11/2 or 11/9 realistic start dates; as soon as credentialed
End Date: 1 year + option years

Patient Population:
Pediatrics and adolescents, including patients from Riverside Indian School
Setting:
Outpatient clinic

• Ongoing psychiatric support of pediatric and adolescent patients
• address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) while the patient is in the Pediatric Clinic or soon after
• provide follow-up visits
• support autistic children needing psychiatric coverage
• psychiatric care for ADHD, anxiety, depression, bulimia, anorexia, and occasional crisis intervention/self-harm

• Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Pediatric and adolescent psychiatric support
• Crisis intervention, including self-harm cases
• Support for patients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and autism-related psychiatric needs

• OK State License or IMLC
• Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatrist residency program
• Must be Board Certified in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• Current DEA license and State CDS license, if required by the DEA
• Minimum 5 years of work experience post residency with at least 2 years in pediatrics

• Patients per day: 12–16
• Typical visit length: approximately 30 minutes for stable medication refills; approximately 1 hour for new patients
• Notes/admin time: 2–4 hours per week
• Last appointment: around 4:00 PM, depending on the day
• Cancellation ratio: approximately 20%, with transportation to in-house visits being difficult for some patients
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30/5:00 PM
