Student Worker -Campus Activities Coordinator

Location: Oklahoma City

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will work closely with the Student Life staff in the Student Life Office. Responsibilities will include creating, and executing campus activities for the MACU student body. Students working in this position should be punctual, good communicators, adept with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and approachable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform duties assigned by Student Life Staff members
• Plan Events that encourage community, relationship, and positive memory building
• Communicate with students, faculty, and staff about Events
• Market the Events
• Maintain Budgetary Requirements
• Communicate with vendors
• Lead student volunteers in the execution of the events created
• Uphold and model the policies outlined in the MACU Student Handbook

QUALIFICATIONS:

Effective oral and written skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Maintain a customer-service and professional attitude
• Uphold a high standard of confidentiality

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:

• Current MACU Student

COMPUTER

SKILLS:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
