Middle School​/High School Principal

Location: Wellston

Seeking a student-centered leader to serve as Principal for our combined middle and high school (grades 6-12). The Principal will provide instructional, operational, and community leadership to ensure a safe, inclusive, high-achieving learning environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth for all students.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide visionary instructional leadership: set academic goals, monitor progress, and promote data-driven instructional practices across grades 6-12.

* Supervise, evaluate, and develop faculty and staff; lead professional learning and coaching to improve teaching and learning.

* Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and interventions to close achievement gaps.

* Manage student discipline, attendance, and behavior systems that are restorative, consistent, and equitable.

* Ensure a safe, orderly, supportive school climate that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

* Oversee daily school operations: scheduling, transportation coordination, facility management, and extracurricular program support.

* Develop and manage the school budget and resources; seek grants and community partnerships.

* Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and the broader community; foster parent engagement and partnerships.

* Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies and reporting requirements.

* Lead transition programs between middle and high school to support student continuity, credit attainment, and college/career readiness.

Required Qualifications l. Oklahoma Elementary or Secondary Teacher Certification

2. A master's degree from an accredited institution, with a major in administration and leadership.

3. At least five years' teaching experience, one year of which shall have been at the level assigned.

4. Oklahoma Principal Certification

Preferred Qualifications Experience in secondary school administration.
