Job Title: Primary Teacher (Ages 4–16) – Full-Time

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Blackburn, supporting pupils aged 4–16. The role involves delivering a broad, differentiated curriculum across all subjects, tailored to meet a wide range of special educational needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging, adapted lessons across core and foundation subjects.
• Teach pupils across primary and secondary age ranges with varying needs and abilities.
• Implement and review EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
• Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Assess, track, and report pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and external professionals.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.

• Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN.
• Strong understanding of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties.
• Ability to deliver across multiple subjects and adapt teaching effectively.
• Calm, nurturing approach and strong classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
