Secondary English Teacher
Cleveland Public Schools is seeking an innovative and qualified educator to join our family. We are a school that prides itself on creating opportunities and giving students hope through education. Our focus is to find creative ways to develop and foster 4 key characteristics in students:
Ability to Hope and Dream for the future. Critical Thinking Skills. Technology Skills. Knowledge necessary to achieve students' individual dreams. This position would be fostering these 4 principles through teaching high school English.
Specific duties are:
- Plans and delivers a curriculum that fosters student critical thinking.
- Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and families.
- Loves students and is excited about helping students find hope for their future.
- Continuously seeks feedback and opportunities for growth, learns from mistakes, and takes steps based upon feedback.
- Demonstrates a no-nonsense nurturer classroom management style.
Cleveland is a wonderful lake community located 35 minutes from both downtown Tulsa and Stillwater.
