Location: Blackburn
Blackburn with Darwen Council is hiring a Welfare Assistant to support students within the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. This part-time role (32.5 hours/week) requires building positive professional relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
The successful candidate will need a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant qualification or equivalent. A commitment to inclusive education and excellent communication skills are essential. The position is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, starting on 1 September 2026.
