Veritas Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to support a secondary school in Blackburn on a supply basis.

This is a full‑time role expected to last around 3 months, with the possibility of being extended further depending on school needs.

The Role:

Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Follow existing schemes of work and maintain continuity for students
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Mark and assess work where required
Support students in achieving their full potential

The Ideal Candidate :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to a new environment
Available for a minimum 3-month commitment
