Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for a specialized educator (H/F) in full-time CDI (permanent contract) to join a children's home located in Reignier – Esery.

This facility is dedicated to the emergency reception of minors between 12 and 18 years old in child protection. The capacity is for five young people.

Main duties:

• Welcome the young people placed in emergency, reassure and secure their situation from their arrival,
• Observe and analyze the behaviors, needs, and difficulties of the young people,
• Facilitate the expression of the needs and emotions of the young people, establish a trusting relationship and be attentive,
• Provide a first structuring educational support,
• Participate in the development of an individualized care plan adapted to each child,
• Design and animate activities promoting expression, connection with other young people, and the creation of structuring references,
• Work within a multidisciplinary team,
• Communicate with external actors,
• Write professional documents to ensure traceability and follow-up,

Work organization:

• Hours:
  
  Intern planning – Weekend in 10h
• Organization of weekends and public holidays according to planning (work in rotation). 1 weekend per month.
• Leave: 8 weeks of leave per year

We are looking for someone who:

• Possesses solid experience in child protection and educational support.
• Knows how to work in a team, share information, and coordinate interventions.
• Communicates with empathy and kindness, respecting the pace and needs of the children.
• Has a sense of observation and analysis.
• Is able to adapt to intern hours and a dynamic environment.
