Essential Duties and Responsibilities- 1.Establish and implement classroom procedures designed to maximize student learning.
- 2.Prepare detailed weekly lesson plans consistent with Common Core objectives.
Timely submit plans to assigned principal. - 3.Prepare lessons consistent with written lesson plans and best education practices.
Comply with all Individualized Education Plans. - 4.Maintain a neat and orderly classroom, including the physical arrangement of the room, student records and materials.
- 5.Handle routine classroom discipline fairly.
- 6.Prepare and timely submit all required reports.
- 7.Attend and participate in all required meetings and conferences, including professional development and planning meetings.
- 8.Maintain complete and accurate student records, including attendance, performance and discipline records.
- 9.Provide professional and regular feedback to students and parents, ensuring compliance with all laws and district policies and procedures.
- 10.Regularly participate in appropriate professional development opportunities.
- 11.Utilize professional behavior in all school related interactions.
- 12.Comply with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.
- 13.Perform all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
