The Port of Catoosa is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for production operations. This role provides the opportunity to travel up to 15% to other locations such as Houston.
Key Responsibilities & Duties- Strong knowledge of control circuits and industrial electrical systems
- Design and maintain electrical systems for production operations
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with machinery
- Develop and enhance Preventive Maintenance Program
- Support process modifications and engineering projects
- Program and maintain PLC and HMI systems
- Collaborate with teams for safe, efficient operations
- Manage electrical components for projects and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards
- Prepare technical documentation and maintenance reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years in electrical design and programming
- 5 years in leadership or project management
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and related design software
- Experience with PLC/HMI programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens)
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70, IEC, and IEEE codes
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
