Electrical Engineering Technician II - Relay

KAMO Power is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technician II – Relay
. This exempt position supports our protection and controls design operations at our headquarters in Vinita, Oklahoma. This role plays a key part in the development of substation systems and ensures compliance and efficiency across multiple projects.

• Assist in relay and metering design of substations
• Generate designs, drawings, specifications, and material lists
• Develop SEL relay logic, SCADA point lists, and communication processor configurations
• Prepare compliance spreadsheets and technical documentation

• Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronic Technology
• 2–5 years of experience in relay and metering
• Working knowledge of:
• Relay event analysis and protective relays
• SCADA systems and point list development
• Revenue meters, power/current transformers, and circuit protection equipment
• Wave traps, capacitor banks, carrier equipment, and reactors
• Equivalent education and experience will be considered
