Location: Copan
Core Geomatics - British Columbia - ever-changing workplace. Currently, we have an opportunity for a British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS) who has experience in the Legal Oil/Gas Survey sector in British Columbia and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward‑thinking company.
Responsibilities- Manage survey projects of various sizes.
- Work with field crews, drafters, plan checkers, and Land Surveyors.
- Collaborate with other Project Leads for sharing of resources.
- Create and submit project estimates to clients.
- Perform Land Surveyor tasks (articling students may be considered).
- Maintain a strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
- Strive for excellence in all that you do.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Liaise with clients.
- Apply creativity.
- A degree or diploma from a Technical College or University in Geomatics.
- Five to ten years of experience in legal oilfield surveys.
- Experience with construction surveying is an asset.
