Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)

Job summary/Role description

He executes the activities relevant to functional loop checks and to the interlock/sequence's functionality checks in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.

Duties and responsibilities

* To develop the detailed commissioning procedures for Machinery & Packages and procedures for the functional tests of the machinery.

* To check and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list.

* To supervise closing of pending Punch List Items.

* To monitor and ensure that activities are carried out following the procedures and requirements.

* To supervise the works of vendors' specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.

* To support the Vendors' specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors.

* To keep records of all activities performed in the logbook.

* To produce the certificates, duly signed by the parties involved, and handover to certification engineer (QA/QC).

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

* University Degree / Equivalent Diploma in Engineering

Experience

* Relevant experience in construction/modernization of oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPC projects large refinery plants.

* Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size.

* Five (5) years relevant field experience.

* Experience working on the Contractor side.

* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

* Attention to detail, management skills.

* Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
