Project Manager - Civil Engineer in Saint Louis

To accommodate our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and energetic civil engineer for a project management position. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on teams, engaging with clients, and leading building, site development, drainage, utility, parks, recreation, roadway, trail, and campus development projects.

Work will be located in Collinsville, IL and/or St. Louis, MO offices.

• Meet with clients and potential clients to discuss projects
• Actively participate in team meetings to work effectively with team members
• Apply industry‑standard practices to complete work on time
• Develop person‑hour estimates and proposals
• Manage scope, schedule, and budgets on multiple projects
• Perform and check design calculations, plans, and quantity takeoffs
• Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and managers to develop designs
• Develop plans and construction documents
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Review construction bids to recommend awards and perform construction administration

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering – master’s degree is a plus
• PE license
• 5+ years of experience working with both government and private clients in Missouri and Illinois
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Micro Station
• Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills
• Strong technical skills in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
  • Hydrology and Hydraulics
  • Development Review for Municipalities
  • Multi‑Use Path and Park Design
  • Commercial Site Design
  • Water and Sewer Design
  • Road, Parking Lot, and Pavement Design

• Salary range: $80,000 – $115,000 annually
