Instrumentation Technician

Earn $55.00/hour while supporting critical turbine installation, outage, and modernization projects at a power generation facility in the Luther, OK area.

We are seeking experienced Instrumentation Technicians with prior power plant project experience to support turbine capital improvement projects and scheduled outages. This hands‑on role is responsible for installing, calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning instrumentation and control systems used in turbine operations.

• Install, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform loop checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, flow, level, vibration, and speed monitoring systems.
• Support DCS, PLC, and turbine control system integration.
• Test and verify turbine protection, vibration monitoring, overspeed, temperature, and emergency shutdown systems.
• Assist with turbine upgrades, instrumentation replacements, and control system modernization projects.
• Support startup, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure work is completed according to plant safety standards and OEM specifications.

• Previous power plant experience required
• Experience supporting turbine outages, installations, revamps, or capital projects
• Strong instrumentation, controls, calibration, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with DCS, PLC, and turbine control systems preferred

• Temporary project assignment
• Up to 7 days per week
• 10–12 hour shifts
• Periodic rotation of days off based on project needs
