Cox Automotive is seeking an Electrical Sr Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical systems that power our telecommunications and media platforms. In this role, you will architect circuit designs, specify components, and lead integration of power and signal systems for large-scale automotive and digital solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional software, network, and product teams, conduct simulations and testing for reliability and safety, and drive root-cause analysis of complex issues.
You will mentor junior engineers, document standards, and champion innovation aligned with Cox Automotive's inclusive, people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical architectures and circuit designs for telecommunications and media platforms
- Specify components and oversee integration of power and signal systems into automotive and digital products
- Perform simulations, validation, and testing to ensure reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex electrical and system-level issues
- Collaborate with software, network, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Create and maintain electrical design documentation, standards, and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support cross-functional project planning, estimation, and reviews with stakeholders
