The Solid Works Designer position is responsible for the design and drawing of air-cooled heat exchangers and other heat transfer components.

• Perform design calculations per ASME code as required.
• Review and apply project specifications and incorporate them into fabrication drawings.
• Serve as technical contact for the shop and outsource fabricators.
• Coordinate with internal departments to establish information needed to complete all technical activities (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering,Sales).
• Create and submit all customer approval drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate with engineering to complete bundle and structural detail drawings asneeded.

• 3D Solidworks modeling experience is required.
• Experience with air-cooled heat exchangers or relevant structural design knowledge isdesired.
• General mechanical drafting knowledge and experience required.
• Familiarity with weld processes and symbols for vessel and structural applications desired.
• Experience with Driveworks Automation is desired.
• Solid Works: minimum of 3 years
• Mechanical Drafting: minimum of 3 years
