Job Description
This position is for a professional Poker Dealer who will work under direct supervision to facilitate poker games. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a fun and engaging atmosphere for players while handling cards, chips, and currency with accuracy and care. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests, assisting them with gameplay and ensuring all rules are followed.
Responsibilities- Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate dealing for all poker games.
- Maintain constant inspection of decks and gaming equipment to always ensure the security of the game.
- Conduct financial transactions by exchanging guest currency for gaming chips.
- Ensure the safety and security of all chips and currency entrusted to you.
- Assist guests with gameplay and ensure strict adherence to all established rules, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with co-workers and management to maintain a cohesive and professional gaming environment.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of six months of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a license from the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of training in a certified Gaming Academy (such as CNE Gaming Academy) is required.
- Ability to provide a high standard of guest service.
- Proven ability to maintain a close working relationship with co‑workers and management.
