In this leadership position, you'll oversee daily cash handling operations, mentor team members, and help guests maximize their rewards and entertainment experience. Responsibilities- Process guest transactions including chip issuance and redemption, currency exchanges, check cashing, cash advances, slot tickets, and promotional voucher redemptions.
- Provide accurate, timely, and courteous service while handling high-volume cash and non‑cash transactions.
- Enroll guests in the rewards program and assist with membership card issuance and account maintenance.
- Promote rewards program benefits, casino promotions, events, and special offers to guests.
- Lead, mentor, and support Player Services Cashiers to ensure compliance with company policies and gaming regulations.
- Verify and balance funds at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Process jackpot payments, special payouts, and required documentation accurately.
- Assist with currency transaction reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Research and resolve transaction variances through report review and auditing.
- Maintain operational and promotional inventory levels.
- Conduct entry‑level player evaluations and outbound guest outreach calls.
- Monitor and maintain accountability for ATMs and kiosks.
- Address guest and team member concerns professionally and elevate issues when appropriate.
- Safeguard company assets and reconcile daily transactions to maintain accurate balances.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and casino information.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum one year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and guide team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large‑volume cash transactions.
- Ability to learn casino games, promotions, and property amenities.
- Proficiency with computers and job‑related software applications.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to comply with tribal, federal, state, and local gaming regulations and company policies.
- Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and certifications.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a casino environment with noise and second‑hand smoke exposure.
