Description

Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc. is a fast-growing health insurance company committed to making high-quality, affordable healthcare accessible to everyone through our employer-sponsored solution, Nonstop Health®. Here you’re joining more than a job—you’re part of a mission to transform how brokers, clients, and members experience healthcare. You’ll help build strong partnerships, grow our client base, and deliver exceptional service that truly makes a difference.

We move fast, work efficiently, and innovate constantly—from automation to new products—so you can make an impact and help shape the future of healthcare.

What Nonstop is Looking For

Nonstop is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and highly collaborative Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as our financial architect, partnering closely with the executive team to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency while bridging the gap between corporate FP&A and specialized insurance-industry financial analysis. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes, translating complex data into actionable insights that empower senior leadership to make high-impact decisions.

As the owner of the organization’s "financial heartbeat," you will manage everything from high-level operating budgets to granular client-level profitability. Beyond standard planning, you will leverage your expertise to analyze claim payment trends and reserve positions, providing critical insights to protect our business and inform our risk‑adjusted pricing strategy.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles by developing sophisticated strategic models that capture the unique complexities of our insurance and administrative services business model.
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to department heads, offering financial expertise and actionable guidance to help them achieve their operational and financial objectives.
  • Architect and automate high‑impact management reporting packages that monitor KPIs, surface critical trends, and evaluate budget vs. actual performance for executive reviews and Board presentations.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to analyze client and broker profitability, claim and reserve dynamics, staffing requirements, and prospective M&A or partnership initiatives.
  • Optimize financial systems and workflows to enhance the speed and precision of reporting, with a dedicated focus on leveraging AI‑driven tools to drive operational innovation.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to high‑impact FP&A leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise within the insurance, administrative services, SaaS, or financial services sectors is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; advanced credentials such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA are strongly desired.
  • Technical Mastery
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the development of sophisticated strategic models and sensitivity analyses.
    • Hands‑on proficiency with advanced financial planning systems such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or Vena.
    • Familiarity with enterprise‑grade ERP systems like Net Suite or Intacct, alongside BI and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
    • Proven ability to leverage AI‑driven tools to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and operational innovation.
  • Strategic Core Competencies
    • Superior ability to translate intricate financial data into clear, compelling narratives for executive‑level review.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive cross‑functional alignment.
  • A meticulous eye for detail balanced by a broad, strategic "big picture" perspective.
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered (please specify if this is required or preferred).
  • Applies critical thinking and balanced judgment to solve problems and drive confident decisions.
