ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Originating all types of residential, secondary market loans including purchase transactions, refinances, construction loans, lot loans and bridge loans ensuring all account documentation is complete, accurate, properly secured and adheres to compliance guidelines.
  • Attaining monthly closed loan volume.
  • Completing applications thoroughly and exporting files to processing.
  • Communicating positively, clearly and on‑going with customers, potential customers and co‑workers, including a customer consultation with every loan application.
  • Maintaining relationships with referral sources in current markets and seeking referral sources in new and existing markets through outside calls.
  • Active community involvement and participation in marketing bank products/services.
  • Supporting bank locations and other assigned branches as requested.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of residential lending processes, documentation and compliance regulations.
  • Experience and knowledge of current government and conventional secondary market loan guidelines as well as secondary market lending experience preferred.
  • Computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while managing deadlines in stressful situations.
  • Independent working attitude within a team framework.
