General SUPPLY Specialist Security Clearance

Position: GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: Albert

Duties
* Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Maintenance Supply Liaison function within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring equipment support complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
* Represents unit in working with supply support organizations to determine requirements and the capability of supply to support those requirements.
* Serves as the Maintenance Supply Liaison for assistance on issues concerning Depot Level Reparables (DLRs).
* Accountability of supply and equipment assets.
* Prepares effective training plans to maximize Reserve training. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must be a current member of the AF Reserve or willing/qualified to join
* Position requires the incumbent to obtain and retain a security clearance as designated by security access requirement (SAR) code
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service of which includes Knowledge of accepted supply principles, concepts and methods of one or more supply specializations. OR

EDUCATION:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirement is at least 100%.

Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.

3. Ability to research, compile, and analyze supply information and data; receive, screen, review, verify, and maintain supply documents.
4. Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve issues and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
