About us: The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found Incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. OFC is expanding with new construction scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2025 adding an additional 84 beds.

When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers.

About the Position: The Social Work department at the Oklahoma Forensic Center is hiring Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals who would provide professional behavioral health services to patients in an inpatient setting, including assessments and psychotherapy, to support recovery and wellness within a designated caseload or population. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to address the physical and behavioral health needs of individuals in services.

Job Type/Salary: Open/Close dates: 10/8/2025 – until filled. Full-time. Pay rate:
Licensed Behavioral Health Professional $34.13/hr;
Licensure Candidate Behavioral Health Professional $31.73/hr primary Working Hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm. FLSA Status:
Exempt. Primary Work Location/Department: OFC/Social Work. Vacancies: 1.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

LBHP:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field and must be a practitioner with a license to practice, issued by one of the following Oklahoma state licensure boards:
Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers (clinical specialty only), Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health Licensure, Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board, or the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (examples of accepted licensure include:
Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Behavioral Practitioner (LBP), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health (LADC/MH)) OR the completion of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field and be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if the board's supervision requirement is met, to become licensed by one of the licensure boards listed above plus one (1) year of experience in providing professional behavioral services to consumers in a state approved facility or similar entity.

LCBHP:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field and be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if the board's supervision requirement is met, to become licensed by one of the licensure boards listed above.

Special Requirements: Board approved supervision must begin no later than 30 days of start date. Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license. Preference may be given to candidates meeting the Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) status as defined by Title 43A 1-103(11) for some positions.
