A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-focused environment. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a small hospital setting and are passionate about providing excellent respiratory care to diverse patient populations.
Schedule:
- Day shifts: 9 AM - 9 PM
- 3 shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday-no weekends!)
- 8-week contract, with the possibility of extension
- Credentialed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Experience in Emergency Department and/or Medical/Surgical units required; LTAC RTs also welcome
- Confident in providing ventilator management
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small, 25-bed facility without an ICU
- Current licensure as required by state regulations, plus BLS/ACLS certifications
- Deliver exceptional care to patients requiring respiratory support in both ED and Med/Surg areas
- Perform ventilator management, airway care, and related respiratory therapy procedures
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to create effective patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and therapies
- Document all interventions accurately and in a timely manner
- Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule without weekend shifts
