Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities- Provides certified nursing assistant services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies, and procedures
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Lifts, transfers, and repositions residents using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Celebrates residents' dignity and independence while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services
- Participates in care conferences and provides input on resident care plans
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Reports changes in resident condition, concerns, or issues to the nursing staff and supervisor
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality care, customer service, and teamwork
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary
- Positive interpersonal relationship skills, including with persons of all ages and cultures
- Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate electronic medical record systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Strong attendance and punctuality record
- May be subject to falls, burns, and/or odors throughout the day
- Encounter reactions from dust, tobacco smoke, disinfectants, and other air contaminants
- Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and/or conditions
- May work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods
