Description

We are currently looking for aFull Time Recovery Specialist Ito join our Residential Services Recovery Team team located at the Aalhakoffichi' Adolescent Transitional Living Facility working 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Summary

Serves in a supportive trauma-informed capacity and provide guidance and services to residents within the Residential Services Division facilities during assigned hours. Responsible to assist in maintaining the safety and security of the facility and the residents during assigned hours. Participates in processes that involve a wide range of daily living activities for residents including food service, hygiene, recreation, education and related community living chores.

Recovery Specialist I may be responsible to accurately document all proceedings through appropriate recordkeeping in the electronic record system. This position may also involve some cross‑training with other Residential Services Division teams.

If applicable, must have had one year of sobriety and no charges or arrests related to substance abuse within two years.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures key elements of facility and resident security and safety during assigned shifts
  • Keeps all program keys in your possession at all times
  • Performs periodic checks throughout the premises
  • Keeps all rooms not being used locked
  • Provide crisis intervention and referral information for incoming phone calls
  • Answers the phone, transfers call, takes messages and screens calls per guidelines for areas served
  • Monitors and maintains proper documentation of medications being taken by the consumers
  • Transports Chickasaw citizens and other First Americans to and from appointments, meetings, and activities as needed
  • Supervise daily life skills of the individuals served
  • Maintains required documentation of services provided including progress notes, case management documentation and other written monthly reports and documentation as requested by supervisor(s) in an electronic record
  • Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate -- files, logs, records, reports, etc.
  • Monitors daily inventory
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
