Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. • Provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Positions and preps patients prior to surgery, ensuring clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors and sponges.
• Controls bleeding, closes surgery sites using sutures or staples and properly dresses wounds.
• Collaborates with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a certified surgical technician program and a recognized first assistant training program.
• At least one year experience as a surgical tech is required.
• BLS required.
