Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy) – Behavioral Health Works

We recruit Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, teaching communication, social, and self‑help skills through play‑based ABA therapy. You’ll track progress, collect session data, and partner with families and a clinical team.

• Working directly with kids using play‑based ABA therapy (you get paid to play)

• Competitive pay – $21 to $25/hr
• Flexible schedules (3 pm to 8 pm, minimum 3 days/week)
• Complete your RBT training within 14 days and earn a bonus, plus we cover your RBT exam fees
• Bilingual? You’ll earn more, we offer a higher pay rate for bilingual staff
• Travel reimbursement between clients (we know gas isn’t free)

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Are available weekday afternoons or evenings (3 pm to 8 pm, minimum 3 days/week)
• Have a reliable car, valid license, and insurance
• Are comfortable with tech, you’ll use your phone/tablet for data collection
• Have experience or a passion for caregiving, education, or working with kids with special needs (preferred, not required)

We’d especially love to hear from candidates with experience or interest in paraprofessional work, caregiving, coaching, tutoring, special education, social work, mental health advocacy, youth programs, foster care, childcare, camp counseling, or related fields. Studying psychology, education, social work, human development, or something similar? Even better.
