Position: Patient Representative I

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Patient Representative I serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience. This role involves administrative support, patient interaction, and coordination with clinical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner

Verify patient information, insurance details, and demographics

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly

Maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems

Collect payments and process basic billing transactions

Coordinate with medical staff to ensure a smooth patient flow Handle sensitive information in accordance with privacy regulations

Performs any other duty as assigned.
