Hiring Range: $34.51 - $62.13. Please note that the final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
Schedule Details: Monday through Friday, Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Major Responsibilities- Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
- Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
- Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
- Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
- Promptly and properly completes exams, performs QC on images and appropriately sends exams to PACS for the physicians to review.
- Assists in maintaining an orderly inventory and in arranging the purchase of needed supplies.
- Assists with other job-related duties including urgent exam requests and scheduling.
- Under the direction of a Radiologist or Emergency Room Physician, performs CT exams using contrast media according to department policy and procedures.
- Establishes IV access for contrast injection according to department policy and procedure.
- Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide operational, administrative, or departmental support.
- The float requirements only apply to UMass Memorial Nashoba Valley's newly hired staff.
- Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed.
- Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.

- Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

- AART certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine required. RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Must take the initial exam for the ARRT certification in CT Scan within 6 months of the completion of the required competencies.
- Exam delays will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
- Must pass the ARRT CT certification exam within 12 months.
- BLS certification with 30 days of hire.
